‘HumbleBee’ Bracelet
As part of our ‘Animal Instincts’ collection, we’re giving a respectful nod to Charles Darwin. Our inspiration for this piece comes from the transition in name from ‘humblebee’ to ‘bumblebee’. Although previosuly named by Darwin, it’s not entirely clear why the name changed, but several accusing fingers point towards Beatrix Potter’s character Babbitty Bumble. For us, this represents history meeting modernity and how things got as complicated as a bees’ hive somewhere in the middle.
